Gerald Fisher entre dans la RAF en novembre 1938 en tant qu'officier. Il effectue son entrainement au 13 E & RFTS et au FTS 7, se qualifiant comme pilote en juin 1939. Il effectue sa transformation opérationnelle à l'OTU 7 en août 1940 et rejoint le Squadron 602 le mois suivant, à temps pour prendre part aux derniers combats de la Bataille d'Angleterre. Promu F/O en novembre 1940, il est ensuite affecté au Squadron 91 et quitte la RAF en 1946 avec le grade de S/L. Il est décédé en 1973.
